Tanore police arrested ten people including warranted convicts in different locations in Rajshahi’s Tanore. Of these, seven of the family cases are warrants and the other three are accused in the case. Tanar Police Station Officer-in-Charge confirmed that they were arrested from their respective areas on Tuesday night. Today they were sent to jail on Wednesday morning.
The arrested persons are Moyez Uddin, 65, son of Ziaurullah, Bazlur Rahman, 35, and Yusuf Ali, 30, son of Maija Uddin, Abul Hossain, 45, son of Yasin Ali, Abdul Hannan, 30, son of Abul Hossain, Abdul. Hannan’s wife Rubina Khatun, 30, wife of Sajjad Ali, wife of Halinur Bibi (30). The warranted in the case are Asadul Islam, 24, son of Abdur Rahman of village Kujigahar and Shrina Bibi, 35, wife of Shafiqul Islam of the same village and Abdur Rahman, 52, son of late Nurmohammam.
It is learned that on Tuesday night, a team led by Tanore Police Station Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahim conducted a investigation in Bonekeshwar and Kujishahar village and arrested them from their respective houses. Of these, seven are warranted convicts and the remaining three are the accused in the case. Tanore Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Islam said 10 people, including warranted convicts, were arrested from different areas of the upazila on the basis of secret information. They were sent to jail on Wednesday morning.
